1) How cool is it that this dude’s name is “House Shoes?” He has inspired me. I injured my toe, so I think that I want my new alias to be “Slides.” Bear in mind that the previous comment was meant in jest. I do not want/need any of you mofos on my a**!
2) I know nothing about Charles Hamilton (beyond the videos that I see on this site), but I wonder if his record will ever be released now. If so, is it fair to assume that it will go triple dog sh*t?
3) It is really sad to me when people use the deceased to “come up” (i.e., Dilla, Big Pun, Biggie, etc.).
“come listen to my podcast, I’m giving $20,000 to Jerry’s Kids” classic Houseshoes is the truth. When i was on the radio (Late Nite Snax) we interviewed him couple weeks after Dilla died and he really would wup sum ass for Dilla. I Remember him specifically saying that he was heated at people using Dilla’s beats and not reppin’ so i believe what he says and this “fiasco” should be officially ended.
