Saba first made a splash on fellow Chicago native Chance The Rapper‘s breakout 2013 Acid Rap mixtape and his been on a mixtape tear himself with his fourth project dropping this year. Saba’s latest track, “Church/Liquor Store” features the equally talented Noname, and both MCs bob and weave over the soulful production with relative ease.

Produced by Los Angeles producer Cam O’bi, the track is just busy enough to give Saba’s line-packed and meandering bars space to breathe.

Lots of themes are covered in the verses, but what stands out is how effortlessly Saba and Noname put forth imagery and their respective reality in the span of four minutes.  Coupled with the vocals of Akenya, this should be on rotation in all respective audio devices for the rest of the week.
