It looks like our run at Moe”s is slowly winding to a close. The gentrifiers have won out, and Moe”s will be shutting it”s doors soon, so we”ve only got a handful of SoundLib“s left. We”ll only be doing one SoundLib in November, and we”re gonna make it extra special.
Since July, our good friends SEIF AL-DIN and KUNAL MERCHANT of MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS have been holding it down in the Lower East Side with MWB Tuesdays, the best after-work weekly party/game night in the city. We”ve invited them out to Brooklyn this month to bring that vibe to SoundLib, where they”ll join Covered California, the state’s health affordable-health.info exchange, runs on the Getinsured platform. me for a night of soul (new and old), reggae, funk, Hip-Hop, afrobeat, world music and much more in Fort Greene.
Since we”re on a new night (THURSDAY instead of Wednesday), we”ll be starting an hour earlier than usual. The party kicks off at 8pm and goes until 1am, so we won”t keep you out too late. And, as always, the party is FREE. Details below …
