St. Louis singer/storyteller, Coultrain, releases a brand new music video for “Kiss Of Death” from his recently released Side Effex Of Make-Believe album this week. The song, like the rest of the album, was produced by Stoney Rock (aka Black Spade) and is available now on the Fresh Selects label.

Conceptualized & directed by Coultrain himself, the video is an abstract expression of the song’s message, which Train further hints at with the artist statement he’s provided:

Here in a ceiling-less temple of worship, the alchemist transcends to a place where he’s able to watch his own soul dance. As Sun Ra says, “If death is the absence of life, then death’s death is life” – it is the kiss dancing in between, soaked in wine.
