The Fresh Selects label surprise-announced their first vinyl release yesterday. 100% funded by cassette and digital sales when the project was first released in April – they were then able to press up L.A. multi-talent, Low Leaf‘s beautifully crafted AKASHAALAY to its rightful LP format.

And to show their gratitude for all the overwhelming support for the record – they went kinda crazy on getting all of the details right. The album was completely remastered specifically for vinyl, with lock-out grooves added to both sides of the record, a spot UV gloss designed for the cover, along with a full-color sleeve with handwritten lyrics & new artwork, color printing on the inside jacket sleeve (who does that?!) + a download card inside, bonus hidden messages and more. Damn.

This is a limited edition first pressing of only 500 copies. Get yours while you can – right here.

You can also hear the newly remastered verion of the album’s closer, “Life Is Peace,” and get a better look at the album’s packaging below.
