Almost 30 years to the day of its release, Houston rapper Express pays homage to the film Highlander by unleashing his latest EP Highlander: The Legend of Connor Macleod. The project’s unconventional soundscape is provided by standout producer Chris Rockaway & BeatsbyNix. The effort takes both artist and producer off the beaten path and is meant to serve as a novelty tape and Express’ rap version of the cult classic film.
