This week’s SOUNDLIB features the return of DJ KUNAL MERCHANT. He spun a couple of really great sets with us back in March, and we’ve been itching to get him back on ever since.
KUNAL, whose influences range from Depeche Mode to Outkast to Massive Attack to Classical Indian music, recently released the critically acclaimed Hindustani Gangster with his production team Music Without Borders. The project fuses Indian-style beats with Jay-Z’s American Gangster album to put a desi spin on the hustler theme.
We’ll be spinning good Hip-Hop, R&B, Funk, Soul, Reggae and other good shit from 9pm-1am. As always, the party is FREE. Full details below.
